Bavaria Golf CourseBaviera Golf is situated in the Axarquía approximately 2 km East of Torre del Mar, near Caleta de Vélez.

The course opened in 2001. It has been designed under the directions of José María Cañizares, and is a challenge for all levels of play, from the beginner to the professional.

Bavaria Golf CourseThey have a hotel located at the course and ample other facilities.

Baviera Golf is a popular base to explore golf in the Granada, eastern Málaga and southern Almería regions.

1.     Anoreta
About 25 minutes to the west of Nerja, on the eastern outskirts of Malaga, lies Anoreta, a championship course, (18 hole Par 72). There is a good clubhouse and wonderful ocean and mountain views. Club hire too.

2.     Guadalhorce
50 minutes to the west, just north of Malaga airport is Guadalhorce another 18hole par 72 with extremely different terrain between the two nines. This is particularly popular with some serious Nerja golfers.

3.     Real Club de Campo de Malaga
There is another championship course just to the west of Malaga near the Malaga airport at the 'Parador del Golf'. Real Club de Campo de Malaga is a state owned club and situated near the Mediterranean coast. This course it the oldest course on this particular coast line.

Finally, at Salobrena about 40 kilometres to the east of Nerja, there is a 9 hole links course called Los Moriscos Golf.
